Different types of Triangles

                         DIFFERENT TYPES OF TRIANGLES
In this blog we are going to discuss about different types of triangles.

Triangle: - It is a closed figure bounded by three sides. It also has three angles. The sum of three angles of a triangle is 180 degree.

Based on the sides, triangles are of three types.

They are: -

1)      Equilateral Triangle: - It is a type of triangle whose three sides are equal in length and the three angles are also equal i.e. 60 degree.

2)      Isosceles Triangle: - It is a type of triangle whose two sides are equal in length and the two angles opposite to the equal sides are also equal.

3)      Scalene Triangle: - It is a type of triangle whose no sides are equal in length and all the angles are also different.

Based on the angles, triangles are of three types.

They are: -

1)      Right Triangle: - It is a triangle which consist of a right angle or a 90 degree angle.

2)      Acute Triangle: - It is a triangle which consist of a all acute angles i.e. angles less than 90 degree.

3)      Obtuse Triangle: - It is a triangle which consist of an obtuse angle i.e. angle greater than 90 degree.

Next time we will discuss about congruent triangles and some solve examples on that.
