                  The line graph show the profits made by a company in five years. By how much did the profit decrease from 1990 to 1993?

Solution:

Step:1

Height of every  single point on the diagram indicate the profit made by the company during a particular worksheets

Step:2  :

         According to the diagram, the profit in the year 1990 is $4 million.

Step 3 :

          From the chart, profit in the year 1993 is $1 million.

Step4:

Decrease in the profit =the profit made in 1990’s - profit made in 1993’s = 4million−1 million = $3 million
